Abnormality is noted in the region of the caecum. Within the caecum, there is a round soft tissue opacity seen. It measures 3.8cm in transverse diameter. The inferior aspect of the opacity contains the fatty tissues of the mesentery. The findings are suggestive of an intussusception. The head of the intusseptum is usually due to a focal neoplasm.
