🌈 Remembering Our Colourful Shanaya 🌈

Our Little Art Big Art community is deeply saddened to share that we have lost a very special young artist, Shanaya.

Shanaya had a wonderful love for art and colour. She embraced creativity with enthusiasm and brought her own unique style and imagination to everything she created. She especially loved exploring botanical and animal artworks, filling her creations with colour, personality and joy.

Her beautiful smile, laughter and vibrant spirit brought so much warmth to our studio. Shanaya saw the world in colour and shared that colour with those around her.

She will be dearly missed and will forever hold a special place in our Little Art Big Art family.

Our thoughts and love are with Shanaya’s family and everyone who knew and loved her.

🌯 THAT’S A WRAP! 🎨❄️

A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing artists and scientists who joined us these winter holidays! 💙

Over the past two weeks we’ve explored, experimented, questioned, created, splattered, sculpted, painted and discovered so many incredible ideas together. Some masterpieces came home to be treasured forever, while others became part of the creative journey—because process art is just as important as the finished piece.

At Little Art Big Art, we believe creativity grows through exploration. We encourage children (and adults too!) to test ideas, see how different materials behave, make magical marks… and sometimes marks they don’t love! Every experiment teaches something new.

That’s how artists learn. It’s how confidence grows. It’s how imagination comes to life. Just like Picasso and every great creator, art is made through curiosity, problem-solving, practice and a willingness to try again.

Thank you for filling our studio with laughter, creativity and wonder. We can’t wait to create with you again next holidays… and don’t forget, our weekly term classes continue the creative adventure all term long! ❤️🎨
