It’s not just about finding pretty blooms (even though I say that word in this video multiple times 🙊), I’m looking at colour, texture, shape and how each flower will work with the others, including finding that perfect bridging flower to bring contrasting colours together.

These are the blooms I selected fresh from the market today for Monday & Tuesday’s Flowers for Today.

Sold my last Full Bloom size posy of the day, and honestly? It’s bittersweet 💕

This one found her way to a customer who’d been searching for a good florist in the area and was so happy she found my studio. That kind of feedback never gets old 🫶

But I’ll admit… the textures and colours in this posy were SO pretty, part of me was secretly hoping she wouldn’t sell so I could keep her in a vase for myself 😂 No such luck, she’s off to her new home now, and I couldn’t be happier.

That’s the job, though. Fall in love with them, then let them go.

A bit behind in sharing these posies but for two fabulous reasons. First, after over exhausting myself last week I chose to slow down over the weekend and spend time with my family 🫶

Second, I was busy making pre-ordered arrangements for delivery and collection this morning.

I have made two simple categories on my updated online store:

Flowers For Today - If you need same-day delivery you can select one of the florist choice Full Bloom Posy or Bloom Posy and it will be delivered in the afternoon if ordered before 12pm. Best part, there’s no decision fatigue!

Flowers For Another Day - Or you can choose from the curated selection of bouquets and plants for delivery another day in the Flowers For Another Day category.

It’s easy peasy 🫛
