My name is Wayne and I build custom guitars under the name McPhee guitars.
I started building guitars in 2009 and I’m based in Melbourne, Australia.
All my guitars are hand made by me using only quality tonewoods and hardware.
I build all types of guitars but I specialise in classical guitars and Selmer gypsy jazz style guitars.
In recent years I’ve started making my own pickups for the electric builds.
I mostly build custom ordered guitars which is great for the client as they get exactly the type of guitar they want with all the specs they want. I tell my clients to have as much input as they want.
