🌊 BEACHPORT MARKET DAY 🎏

The seaside community of Beachport will be holding their annual October long weekend market day this Saturday.

Residents and visitors to the town are advised that Railway Terrace (from Foster Street to the western side of the roundabout on Beach Road) Beachport will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7 am to 2 pm on Saturday, 5 October 2024 to facilitate this event.

Pop down and see what the stallholders have on offer. We wish you all a fun and relaxing weekend ⛵️🏖️

Stopped in at Bay Tree Cottage Beachport this morning to deliver some biscuits to the wonderful AC Care biscuit drive!

Of course a packet of my favs Venetians - and my office staffs favs the Kingston, and which was also a clear winner within the MacKillop with my controversial biscuit conversation a few months back. 🤣

When you are feeling down, there is nothing better than sharing a cuppa and a biscuit while having a chat.

Packets of store bought sweet, dry or savoury biscuits with a longish use by date, can therefore be dropped into Piarena at Bay Tree Cottage in Beachport…. Maybe stay and share a cuppa as well.

The biscuits will then be delivered directly to AC Care in Millicent.
Just one packet per person is all the friends are asking for, as they are not looking for huge donations. The small group who are organising this collection, look forward to the generous Beachport community supporting them in their endeavours, to again help those doing it tough!!
