😀Father's Day Stall 💙
Our annual Father's Day Stall will be happening from Tuesday 1st September to Thursday 3rd September in the Library. To ensure our stalls run smoothly, we need a few extra hands to help us out! Volunteers are needed to help children select gifts and just ensure the gifts are stocked up on the tables! It is a really fun event to get involved in and lets you see the enjoyment kids get when they choose the gifts for their loved ones! (No cash handling)
Let us know if you can help out by sending us a message! The more the merrier!!
Kids are of course welcome - we just ask that you bring along a little activity to keep them entertained in the Library behind our stall tables.

🎨 Arts Fest Prize Donations Needed! 🎨

We are looking for donations of new and unused toys, novelty items and fun little prizes to help make our Arts Fest stalls extra exciting!

These donations will be used as prizes and surprises throughout Arts Fest, helping us create a fun, memorable event for our students, families and school community.

We would love donations of:

🎁 Toys and games
🎨 Craft kits and activity sets
⭐ Novelty items and collectibles
✏️ Stationery and fun accessories
🎉 Anything new, unused and exciting!

Items do not need to be large or expensive — small, fun prizes are perfect. The main thing is that they are new, unused and in excellent condition. Maybe you hosted a birthday party and have leftover party bag novelty items or perhaps you have a present drawer that is overflowing and need to downsize.

Thank you for helping us make Arts Fest amazing! Every donation makes a big difference. 💛

Donations can be left at the OSHC building or the Uniform Shop before the 11th September.

Applications are now open to be part of the Jinibara State School Arts Fest 2026!

We’re looking for a fantastic mix of local makers, artists, small businesses and market stallholders to join us for an afternoon of creativity, entertainment and community connection.

📅 Thursday 29 October 2026
⏰ 3:30pm–7:30pm
📍 Jinibara State School

Arts Fest will bring our school and wider community together for student performances, art displays, family activities, market stalls, food, entertainment and plenty of fun.

Bring in a filled Lucky Jar for our Arts Fest Lucky Jar stall!

A Lucky Jar is a mini mystery prize jar filled with new, fun and long-lasting items that someone would love to win.

Use a new jar or a clean reused jar, fill it with surprises, then if you wish, decorate it with ribbon, labels, stickers or even Cricut designs.

Every filled Lucky Jar = 5 class points

Bonus points for the Most Creative and Most Unique Lucky Jars, judged by Student Leaders.

Our Arts Fest Community Challenge is heating up, with PD2 currently in the lead, followed by 2B2 and 3K1!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated—but it’s not over yet! Lucky Jar donations are coming in Week 8, with more points up for grabs and plenty of opportunities for classes to climb the leaderboard. Bonus points will also be awarded to the most unique and most creative jars so there is plenty of opportunities to earn more points.

Start planning those Lucky Jars—the competition is about to get exciting! Lucky Jar information will be coming your way over the next couple of days! Watch our page for all the details!

WOW!! Our Jinibara State School Community really shone today!!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our Jinibara families, we received approximately 630 chocolate and lolly donations—that’s an estimated 107kg of treats!

These donations will support both our upcoming Arts Fest and Father’s Day Stall, helping make these events extra special for our students and school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Every single donation added up to something truly amazing, and we are so grateful to be part of such a generous and supportive community.

The tally board will go up soon! The next donation event will be in Week 8 - on Thursday 3rd September. We will be seeking "Lucky Jar" donations for our Arts Fest. More details will be out soon - but start saving those jam jars or any type of jar and get those creative thinking caps on!
