We are on the home stretch!

August is number 1!

Although I have been very lazy in getting my own list of quilts quilted I am very lucky this month to be quilting the one I actually need to quilt. The others will happen....soon-ish.

From my second list is my witchy cross stitch which I did all the half stitches last year and now it's just a case of finishing the 'x'.

The cold weather certainly made an impression. Always nice to snuggle up under something you've made yourself. Nimbus is learning to love our new heater. Fun times all around.

How was July for you?

I made some inroads on my journal. Didn't touch the Gemcut quilt I wanted to do. But I did start another business and go to a market so it wasn't all lazy 😂

More quilts went home this last week. I’ve not had the best light for taking photos but I take photos to keep track of things. More quilts on the machine this week and hopefully by the end of July I will have caught up after being so sidetracked with medication side effects for the last 3 months. Onwards and upwards.

I have my Gemstone Layer Cake quilt to finish and some work on my journal which I have let languish a bit since earlier in the year. June was a mixed bag as I ended up working on other things and dealing with some medical stuff so call it a postponement.
