These photos were taken from an appliance that was still operating, yet hidden damage had already occurred inside the plug and socket.

The appliance continued to work, but behind the scenes excessive heat had caused melting, carbon build-up and deterioration of the electrical connection. In many cases, faults like this go completely unnoticed until a critical incident occurs — such as an electrical fire, equipment failure, or electric shock.

This is exactly why regular Test & Tag inspections are important in workplaces. A visual inspection alone may not always reveal developing faults, and many damaged items remain plugged in and in use every day without anyone realising there is a problem.

📍 Sapphire Coast NSW
🕔 Monday to Friday | Early Starts | Full Training Provided

Tagair is growing and we’re looking for a reliable, practical, hands-on person to join our team full time.

This role includes:

* Commercial range hood cleaning
* Electrical test & tagging
* Working at heights / roof access
* General safety compliance services
* Travelling to businesses throughout the Sapphire Coast region

No experience is required.
No qualifications are required.
We will provide all training and certifications.

We are looking for someone who:

* Has common sense and takes initiative
* Is reliable and turns up on time
* Is physically fit and not afraid of hard work
* Is comfortable working on roofs and in commercial kitchens
* Can work independently and represent the business professionally
* Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours

Most shifts are approximately:
🕔 5:00am – 2:00pm
(Monday to Friday)

Pay & Benefits

* Starting salary: $68,000 – $72,000 + Super
* Full-time stable employment
* All training and certifications paid for
* Uniforms provided
* Equal Opportunity employment
* must be physically fit enough to climb on a roof.
* Opportunity for long-term growth within the business
* Employee Wellness Program after successful 3-month probation period

Previous experience in trades, commercial cleaning, maintenance, roofing, hospitality or electrical work is helpful but not essential.
