Kaya, lovely people…..💛

Bit of an update. I’m still here recovering slowly, and I mean slowly, 8 weeks of complete downtime, and then doc said may not be back to myself properly for another year. 🤔🫣

However I have slowly been moving my body to do little things. I do need to get up and move around, I also need to keep my brain occupied. So little bits of ironing and small things. As you can see sewing just yet isn’t possible, my body isn’t stable enough to sit for long periods, only short periods. They did remove some of my spine so I have to be kind to myself. 😅

For those that are waiting so patiently for your orders, thank you for your patience. I will get back to sewing as soon as I can. I have very minimal stock on hand as I sold out of a lot for Naidoc week. 🧡

With me being so sick I have washed my hands so much to avoid catching any nasties. I brought handwash from Jalbi Australia in bulk knowing I can just keep refilling it. All the natural, goodness on my skin no nasties. 🧡

Well this year was our 30 year anniversary, it was meant to be our year for travel!! Life chucked us the opposite but that’s okay. 😅

Sooo next year will be our year for holidays. We are doing Baii in March, first time ever. We want a villa with private pool, so I am asking for your help l, please give me your suggestions please of places to stay. 💛

Before I had surgery i started to work on something else to add to the business. Always creating and trying to come up with new ideas. 💡

Today I can only turn them out and not finish them off just yet. But stay tuned and I am sure I will be back to sitting at my sewing table soon. 😍

Hellooooooo amazing souls!!!!! 💜💜💜💜

I know has been keeping up with my journey. And wow it’s been a journey!! I got to come home yesterday to be with my family. It was a rough first day home not going to sugar coat it. The pain, the getting settled figuring out how I can sit, lay, wash all the simple things. 🤔

I cried, it all got a bit too much… but i woke up today with a new lense to look through and am getting through today a bit more pain free. My brain seriously is not communicating with my body so when I tell it to move it isn’t. I still can’t brush my hair or wipe my own rear end (sorry hubby, in sickness and in health hey?😂😅🫣) but I’m blessed to have an amazing family who have all just surrounded themselves around me. 🧡🧡

I won’t be sewing just yet but as the saying goes “good things come to those who wait”… 🤔😅😂 I don’t want to compromise my recovery and I need this patch to stay and pull my body back together so then I don’t need a second surgery. So for now the reclining couch is my best friend, lots of cuddles from my fam, sometimes a pep talk of “you got this my baby”from hubby. A little head rub from my kids and there endless standing waiting to jump and grab or do whatever I need. How blessed am I. So for now we all band together as a family and we get through this the best we can. Tonka tough as my hubby says. 💪🏽 💛
