TCG in the Valley, Perth (2026)

Like a lot of us, Daniel and Jonny grew up watching Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon - collecting the cards, having absolutely no idea what they were doing with them, and apparently ruining a few that could’ve retired their parents. 🙃

Then an old collection resurfaced and the obsession started all over again.

Eventually they accumulated wayyyyy too many cards for two people, Jonny suggested they start vending, Matt came up with Amigo’s Binders… and here we are.

They now specialise in Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, with plans to add Digimon later this year.

For them though, it’s as much about the community as the shiny cardboard - the people they’ve met, the friendships they’ve made and being part of Perth’s growing TCG scene.

You’ll find Amigo’s Binders, along with plenty of your favourite Perth TCG vendors, at TCG in the Valley this Sunday.

We’re bringing together some of your favourite Perth TCG vendors for a day of buying, selling, trading and collecting - Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball and plenty more.

And with food, coffee, market stalls and family-friendly spaces all around us, you can make a day of it in the Swan Valley.

If you could only keep ONE card from your entire collection… what would it be? 👀

When we asked Christian from PokeCollective this question, he admitted it wasn’t easy.

“First off, it was incredibly hard to just pick ONE card from what I currently have!”

But after giving it some thought, one card stood above the rest.

✨ Expedition Raichu, illustrated by the legendary Atsuko Nishida.

“I remember watching Pokémon as a child and Raichu has always stood out for me. The stars in this card are also why I chose it, being a huge lover of all things space related.”

It’s a great reminder that the cards we treasure most aren’t always the rarest or the most expensive. Sometimes they’re the ones that connect us to a childhood memory, a favourite Pokémon or simply something that speaks to who we are.

That’s one of the things we love about the TCG community. Every collection has a story.

Meet Flower Collectables 🌸

Bryce first collected Pokémon as a kid, but it wasn’t until Bryce and Kate stumbled across a few TikTok rip & ships a couple of years ago that the hobby truly pulled them back in.

Their first booster box? Japanese 151 on a holiday to Melbourne… and pulling the Charizard SAR sealed the deal.

Today they’re a family-run business named after their three daughters - Rosie, Daisy and Lilly - who you’ll often see helping out at events.

Alongside sealed Pokémon, One Piece and Dragon Ball products, they’re also known for their popular Flower Dips and colourful Wheel Spin, making their stall a favourite for collectors of all ages.

What they love most, though, is the community.

“Everyone we’ve met has been so kind and generous. We’ve made great friends and had some amazing experiences.”

Why Swan Settlers Market? ❤️

When we started planning TCG in the Valley, we asked ourselves one simple question…

What if a trading card event could be more than just a trading card event?

We wanted it to be a meeting place.

A place where collectors could spend hours hunting for that one missing card, while everyone else in the family had just as much reason to come along.

No more…

“You’re going to a card show again?” 😅

Instead, it becomes…

“Let’s spend the day in the Swan Valley.” 🤗

That’s why we chose Swan Settlers Market as the permanent home of TCG in the Valley.

While we’re inside buying, selling, trading and connecting, there’s so much happening around us.

One of the things we love most about TCG in the Valley is getting to know the people behind the tables. Every vendor has a story, and we’re excited to introduce you to Elvan from RNGmart.

“I came back to collecting Pokémon with the release of Pokémon TCG Pocket in October 2024 after taking a long hiatus from trading cards after a traumatic experience (my Yu-Gi-Oh! deck was stolen the first day I brought it to school in Year 😎.”

Fast forward to today and Elvan is the face behind RNGmart – a TCG breaker on Twitch and YouTube, selling Pokémon, One Piece and Riftbound TCG at events across Perth.

If you spend five minutes chatting with him, you’ll quickly learn he’s a massive weeb.

“Pokémon started my journey into anime and I have been following One Piece religiously since 2006.”

When we asked about his personal collection, this answer made us smile.

“My personal collection is a big yellow goofball with flowing locks that match my own (Ampharos) and the Soul King (Brook). Yohohoho. Maybe it’s the hair? 🤔”

And when we asked what he loves most about the hobby, his answer perfectly captured what we’re trying to build at TCG in the Valley.

“The Perth TCG community is amazing. I love looking through and hearing about everyone’s collections, finding out favourite characters and chatting about lore, art and One Piece theories with other like-minded people.”

That’s exactly the kind of community we want TCG in the Valley to be.

It all started with a simple idea. ❤️

To create a welcoming place where collectors could buy, sell, trade and connect.

A place where the hobby comes first. Where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re chasing your grail card, starting your very first collection or simply enjoying a day out with family and friends.

After the incredible support for our first event, we’re excited to be taking the next step.

We’re proud to be collaborating with Swan Settlers Market for TCG in the Valley 2.

When we first visited Swan Settlers Market, it just felt right.

It isn’t simply a venue - it’s a destination. Every weekend, people come to enjoy the permanent market stalls, local businesses, food, coffee and family-friendly experiences. It’s also home to community events like Anime in the Valley, making it a place where people naturally spend time together.

That’s exactly the sort of environment we want TCG in the Valley to be part of.

So this isn’t just another trading card event.

It’s an opportunity to support local vendors, discover new collectibles, buy, sell and trade with fellow collectors, then wander through the market, grab a coffee and enjoy everything the Swan Valley has to offer.

We’re also excited that the venue offers excellent mobile reception and Wi-Fi, making buying and selling smoother for both vendors and collectors throughout the day.

Whether you’re hunting for that one card to finish your collection, bringing your trade binder, or just keen to check out what everyone’s got on the tables, we’ve got 20 amazing vendors ready to go.

Why not make a day of it? Explore everything the beautiful Swan Valley has to offer, then spend the afternoon buying, selling, trading and connecting with fellow collectors while having coffee from our coffee van (Caffeine Feine).
