Handmade ceramics deserve a little extra care to keep them looking their best for years to come.

Hand wash where possible, avoid sudden temperature changes, and always check whether a piece is food safe before popping it in the microwave.

Stoneware and earthenware behave differently, so knowing what you've bought makes all the difference in how you use and store it. Not sure which one is which? Reach out to your wonderful ceramicist and they will be able to guide you!
