Papuru Designs was founded in late 2014 in Dubai, UAE after years of designing bracelets and mala beads as a hobby to gift to friends and family. I had the pleasure of working with some amazing Yoga studios to display my work at, such as Rawr Yoga, Bay Yoga, Voyoga and partners like Urban Yogini. I also managed to make it to some outdoor events, yes a

n introvert like myself actually went out to markets! After COVID-19, like many families in the UAE, my husband and I decided to move closer to family. So in December 2020, I said goodbye to what was my home for almost 32 years to start over in the land down under with my amazing husband and his family which I find myself truly blessed with. Papuru Designs is now based in Perth, Western Australia and we couldn't be happier to start over again!

We are well, we are safe.

For those of you who don’t know what’s happening, I am currently in the where it’s a bit chaotic at the moment 😅 if you want to know more I recommend tuning into Al Jazeera News, I have been watching some of the Aussie news outlets and I just want to share that it’s not as bad as they are making it look like. There’s been minimal infrastructure damages, the supermarkets are not in any food shortages, most of the people have been going about their day as normal although we have been told to stay home when possible.

Yes, there are ballistic missiles and drones coming in here and our neighboring countries but the government(s) have been on top of everything 😇

Hopefully things will settle soon and things will go back to normal, for now, we are safe. 🙏

I will keep y’all updated and love ya!
