MADE 4 YOU - art studio WHERE YOU CAN FIND ME: Kalamunda Artisan Market, Artisan's Collective WA, Artisan Store Fremantle, My name is Lygia.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and came to Australia in 2006, living in Perth Hills WA. My background is in Librarianship and later in Holistic Therapy and Active Meditation. I am a self-taught artist always using my natural artistic abilities to draw, to paint on canvas, watercolour and the use of charcoal to create my artworks what I have done since a teenager. In 2008 I make a decision to

dedicate more of my time to my own creative practice. In 2009 I had my first professional class I attended here in Australia. I learnt the printmaking techniques using collagraph prints which I now develop with great success! I love playing colours and I use heaps of different shades which I mix myself to create flowers, birds and landscapes around us. I have all my artworks specially MADE 4 YOU to decorate and embellish your place or as a gift to a friend
