I’m SO excited to share that I’m officially a FINALIST in the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative ALIBI Awards — I have also been lucky enough to be a finalist in 3 other awards here in Perth too! but this one feels like a really big deal!
Why? Because these awards aren’t just for Perth-based businesses… they celebrate women in business across Australia.
That’s right… ALL of Australia!
And somehow, little me from Perth has made it to the finalist stage in TWO categories!

I’m honestly so proud of how far I’ve come with Craft and Canvas.
I remember seeing these awards last year and thinking, “If I can actually make this business work, I want to be part of that.”
And then, just ONE YEAR later… here I am. A finalist. In two categories.
I also genuinely LOVE what these awards stand for. They’re about celebrating women, celebrating your achievements, recognising how far you’ve come and actually taking a moment to be proud of yourself and what you’ve built even if you haven't been in business for long.
I loved the application process too. It wasn’t just about ticking boxes and listing achievements. You submit a written application, and then as a finalist, you get the opportunity to tell them even more about you, your business and your journey through a video.
And honestly, I LOVE that.
Because behind Craft and Canvas is a person, a story, a LOT of hard work, plenty of learning along the way and a whole lot of passion.
I have absolutely no idea where this will take me, but I’m SO excited to see what happens next!
