As the Wheel of the Year turns, it’s important to remember that here in the Southern Hemisphere, our seasons fall opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere.

While many traditional references are written for the Northern Hemisphere, we celebrate each sabbat in alignment with the land around us - following the natural rhythm of our own seasons.

As the days begin to shorten and the golden light softens, we arrive at the Autumn Equinox here in the Southern Hemisphere 🍂

This seasonal turning point is a moment of balance, where day and night stand equal, gently guiding us from the energy of summer into the slower, more reflective months ahead.

In the Wheel of the Year, this time is celebrated as Mabon, a harvest festival of gratitude, reflection, and quiet transition.
