There is a story behind our name. 🤍

Ava Sol was never simply chosen because it sounded beautiful. It carries a name, a memory and a love that has shaped our family since long before this brand began.

Over the next few posts, we’re going to share more of that story, and why Ava Sol means so much to us.

This is more than a home-care brand.

It is something deeply personal, created with purpose and built to leave a little more good behind.

Ava Sol was named after our daughter, Avaline. 🤍

Avaline was stillborn in 2017.

Although we never had the opportunity to bring her home, she has remained part of our family, our story and the person I have become.

When it came time to name this brand, I wanted it to carry a piece of her with it.

“Ava” came from Avaline and meaning Life or Bird

“Sol” represents warmth, light and the feeling of something continuing to shine—even when it cannot be seen.

Sharing this part of our story feels incredibly vulnerable, but it is also important. Because Ava Sol was built to mean something—and her name will always be at the heart of it.

Ava Sol is our way of allowing Avaline’s name to continue creating something meaningful. 🤍

We are incredibly proud to announce that $2 from every Ava Sol sale will be donated to support pregnancy and infant loss.

We know that no donation can take away the heartbreak of losing a baby. But we hope it can help provide care, resources and support to families walking a path that no family ever expects to face.

We’re excited to share that Ava Sol will soon be a local retail stockist of selected doTERRA essential oils.

While these oils aren’t made by Ava Sol, they complement our focus on more conscious homes and intentional everyday rituals beautifully.

Soon, you’ll be able to shop a selection of genuine doTERRA essential oils directly through Ava Sol—making it easier to purchase your favourites locally alongside your Ava Sol home-care and ritual products.
