A bit of an update on a massive project I have undertaken with the assistance of SJ Sound Shed. This VN SS came to me after just being resprayed and reassembled. What started as a stereo fitout and sound deadening quickly evolved as we discovered some of the 35 year old wiring was worn out and even to a point where the insulation was completely gone.

So far, we have:
▶️ Sound deadened boot, floor, parcel tray and rear fire wall.
▶️ Rewired the under bonnet fuse and relay box
▶️ New wiring to starter and upgraded alternator wiring
▶️ Fitted upgraded alternator
▶️ Run all wiring for stereo
▶️ Rewired the power window system to make it function
▶️ Replaced all door actuators
▶️ New Parcel shelf with recessed Hertz Speakers
▶️ Front door speaker pods with recessed Hertz Woofers
▶️ Custom sub box with clear back and lighting to house the 2* 12" Hertz Subwoofers.

Still a long road to go until it is finished, however, the customer is happy with progress and the fact that the car will be more reliable and run right. As well as sound incredible.

This 79 Series Dual Cab was lacking in Technology (typical 79 Series), so the suggestion was made to go with the Kenwood DMX80AXS 9" trapezoid screen in a custom facia kit. Also fitted was a GME XRS330 UHF. The Kenwood unit has all the modern features:

🔸 Wireless Carplay and Android Auto
🔸 High Definition Capacitive Screen
🔸 High Definition Audio (speaker upgrade to come)

Both headunit and UHF had all latest firmwares installed prior to leaving.

Also added a reverse camera for safety, especially with 2 little ones in the family.

NP300 Navara in for a massive screen upgrade. This time I went for the Kenwood DMX7509XDS 9" floating screen. With features such as:
🔸 Wireless Android Auto and Carplay
🔸 High definition Capacitive Screen
🔸 Steering wheel controls retention
🔸 Factory Reverse Camera retention
🔸 Amazing audio output

It was the best choice to go with for this vehicle.

Fully software updated before it leaves the garage.

Rounding out the last few weeks, this Y62 patrol in for a couple of wiring jobs:
🔶 Triple Anderson plug to rear floor area to connect to DCDC Charger when required.
🔶 Wiring run to Pre-Installed water pump.
🔶 Charging Inlet on front of vehicle to allow for customer to keep the car charged when not in use.
🔶 All connected via 4-Way Midi Fuse box mounted on top of battery for neatness and ease of access.

🔶 Redarc Towpro Elite V3 with Isuzu Dash insert for the control k**b.
🔶 Isolated Anderson Plug to rear of vehicle to charge the battery in their new Tipper Trailer ensuring it won't go flat on them when they require it most!
