One day you’re going to look your kids in the eye and tell them they can be anything.

And they’re going to believe you.
Because kids always believe their parents.

What they won’t know is that you stopped believing it about yourself somewhere around 27.

When the bills got real and the dreams got quiet and “being realistic” became the story you told yourself so the disappointment hurt less.

You traded the life you wanted for the life that felt safe.
And you got good at not thinking about it.

Sunday nights though.

Sunday nights it comes back.

That feeling that isn’t quite dread and isn’t quite sadness but sits somewhere in between and doesn’t have a name because if you named it you’d have to do something about it.

Most people never do something about it.
Most people just get better at ignoring it.
And then one day they’re 55 sitting across from a kid who’s about to make the same trade they made.

And they tell them not to.

Don’t be most people.

Lately, I’ve been making decisions I don’t feel the need to explain (stay with me here) ⬇️

For a long time, I thought leadership meant being further ahead than everyone else.

Like you needed more certainty, more experience, or some invisible green light before you were allowed to move.

What I’ve learned is that leadership actually starts much earlier than that.

It starts the moment you stop waiting and take responsibility for your own direction even while you’re still figuring parts of it out.

2026 feels different for me.
Not because everything is suddenly perfect or mapped out, but because I trust myself more than I ever have.

My focus this year is simple.
Less noise.
Fewer opinions.
More decisions that are made from clarity instead of pressure.

I’ve been spending more time doing the things I said I wanted to do but never fully made space for.
Building properly.
Looking after my body.
Being more present in my relationships.
Making choices I don’t feel the need to explain.

There’s a lot changing behind the scenes right now.
Not in a dramatic, announcement-worthy way but in a steady, intentional way that feels right.

I feel clearer about where I’m heading, even without having every detail locked in.
And for the first time in a long time, that actually feels solid.

Just sharing where I’m at and listening to where others are too, always open to a conversation
