September and October are packed with opportunities to get out of the house, switch off for a while and do something creative.

Come along with friends, bring your BYO sip & snacks, or book a seat just for yourself and meet some new people along the way.

From handmade bingo and polymer clay earrings to fluid art and a relaxing Kookaburra Paint & Connect evening, there’s a little something for every kind of creative (including the “but I’m not creative!” kind 😉)

Maybe you’ve walked past this door and wondered what actually happens in here..?

There’s handmade to discover, workshops to try, parties to celebrate and a whole lot of creativity.

But you don’t have to consider yourself “creative” to belong here.

So many people walk into a workshop telling me they’re not creative, they’re nervous, or they’re worried theirs won’t look as good as everyone else’s.

And then they make something they’re genuinely proud of 🥹

Southern Land Creatives is a place to slow down, try something new, have a laugh and surprise yourself with what you can create.

Or simply wander in, browse the shelves and discover something made by an Australian maker 🦘

Sometimes when I start getting annoyed by something I make a song about it so I can try and make it fun instead 😂

Such beautiful work needs to be well packed though! I'd be devastated if something arrived broken.
Good job Rhiannon max peanuts it is! 😂

Rhiannon's new stock has only been on the shelf for a couple of days and several things have sold.
It never lasts long so if you see something you love get in quick!

Shop is back open on Wednesday (or privately by request) I can also post something specific to you if something you see here isn't listed online.
I have plenty of peanuts to safely pack it with 😂

Cold, grey and raining outside? ☔️

Come somewhere warm.

Not just heater-on warm.. although..yes! Definitely that 😂 but the kind of warm that comes from shelves filled with things made by real people, colour everywhere you look and a little independent shop that’s always happy to see you.

Wander slowly. Find something handmade.

Okay, I KNOW I keep bragging about Handmade Bingo… but I just think it’s such a cool concept 😂🩷

It works like regular bingo except every square on your card represents a real handmade product from an Australian creative! 🎨🧶🎀

As each item is called, you’ll match it on your card… and if you’re the first to complete the round, forget yelling 'BINGO'... instead you’re yelling 'MAKER!' 🙌

🛍️ After-hours browsing in the shop between rounds
🥂 BYO sip + snacks
🩷 Over $400 worth of handmade prizes up for grabs!

And yes… some of the actual products featured on your bingo cards will be sitting right there in the shop 👀
