I've always had a soft spot for old songs despite how unpopular they are among younger people. Surprisingly my young flatmate told me he knew this song! He remember when he was little his father used to play this song on his guitar every Sunday. How lovely a song can instantly connect two people!

Did you hear the difference? I didn't use my usual TA-240G this time but my new favorite! That's right - my new long neck mango soprano (MG-210L)!
I love how bright, sweet and round it sounds. And it's an absolute breeze to sing with with it 🥰🥰

We've just received two cute ukes from Millar! They are acacia long neck sopranos which are only available in Japan market. We were just lucky enough to include them in our shipping this time by chance! Contact us if you're interested.

I can't wait to share this little delicate tune, Tears for Amalia, played by our friend Brad!
He has his TK-240W tuned to a low G. He told us he finds the cypress/rosewood works well for fingerpicking.
What do you think? I think it sounds gorgeous! And somehow my soul is touched...

When I sing this song, pictures and pictures pop into my mind.
Hartford defined the finished song as a "word movie" and described his writing process as "thinking in pictures, like paintings using words and sound". He composed "Gentle on my Mind" after seeing the film Doctor Zhivago at a local theater.

This classic song has been covered by just about everyone! You probably have done that too.
