Luca Turin is a world-renowned perfume critic who revolutionized how fragrance is discussed and understood.

He first gained fame with his 1992 book *Parfums: Le Guide*, and later *Perfumes: The A-Z Guide*, which applied a rigorous, often witty, and unapologetically scientific lens to olfactory art.

In the artisanal fragrance realm, Turin is a kingmaker. He was one of the first major critics to treat small, independent perfumers with the same intellectual seriousness as historic houses like Guerlain or Chanel. By focusing on the "smell" and the artistic intent rather than marketing budgets, he provided a platform for indie creators to be recognized as true artists, making his endorsement one of the most prestigious honors a niche brand can receive.

All thanks to Almighty Allah, being featured by Luca Turin is a monumental milestone for both me and Byermia Fragrance.

In an industry that is often crowded and subjective, receiving the attention of a figure who has smelled tens of thousands of scents and possesses such a discerning, legendary palate is nothing short of extraordinary.

This recognition is way more than a dream come true—it’s a massive, soul-stirring validation of my artistry. To have a legend who literally set the gold standard for modern perfumery appreciate my work is the ultimate proof of Byermia’s uniqueness.
