I’m so happy you found us.
With so many new faces joining after our recent book giveaway, it felt like the right time to properly introduce myself and share a little of the story behind Grassroots Eco Store.
I grew up attending a Sydney Steiner school from Kindy to Year 12. It was a childhood shaped by seasonal rhythms, adventurous class trips, creative making, devouring as many books as possible and a genuine love of learning about the world.
When I became a mother, returning to the Steiner community through playgroups and festivals felt completely natural, so choosing a school for my boys was easy.
In between, I studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design and spent years working as a designer, including several years at a major Australian publishing house. Creativity has always been the thread running through everything I do.
Grassroots Eco Store grew out of all of that. Every product I stock has been chosen because I know it, I trust it, and I believe in what it offers a child. The books, the art materials, the natural remedies, the toys. Nothing is here by accident.
Because childhood can be magical. And the right resources, books and natural materials in little hands can make it even more so. Everything here has been curated to help you nurture that magic for the children in your life.
