What’s become apparent is the fact that my colleagues and my leaders are prepared back me up, to listen to my lived experience and my voice for the sake of our most marginalised! I certainly can’t say the same about Albanese or Bandt who clearly demonstrate to us all they believe they know better than the Aboriginal women in their own party. That’s the difference between the Left and Right!
