T/S TOP TIP:
DON’T ALWAYS TAKE AN OEM’s WORD FOR IT, WHEN YOU’RE REEL IS “SALTWATER-RATED”….

Unlike their future owners (lol), Reel manufacturer’s can sometimes actually “UNDER-LUBE” their reels…

Sometimes this is done by accident and just slips through QA…

Other times it’s done with the intention of inflating that feeling of refinement and smoothness at point of purchase - with the customer having to take the hit on ultimate reliability/longevity after purchase…

Either way, this was the case with this customer’s (“saltwater rated”) Daiwa HRF!

So, (in addition to a tune-up) this reel received:
- Compete strip & clean
- Internal & external Ceramic Coating to all
Body/frame components
- Re-l**ed with an optimised saltwater
lubrication package.

Client can now fish with confidence that their reel has been TRULLY protected & optimised for the wet & salty stuff in the months ahead!🎣👌😉💯
