🥟 Apparently we’re making viral dumplings now.

Except this one won’t explode, stain the carpet, require a clean-up crew or make you question what questionable substance your child has just put in their mouth.

Meet my much safer, squishier, non-toxic version — made with YoYu Chenille using the adorable dumpling basket pattern by Kaileyn 🧶

This pattern taught me TWO new stitches:

✨ Back post single crochet
✨ Crab stitch

There was some confusion.
There was some aggressive Googling.
But LOOK AT HER. 🥹

Finished off with 25mm crescent moon glitter eyes for a seriously cute expression ✨

All the fun of the viral dumpling trend… Zero mystery goo. Zero mess. Maximum squish.

And unlike the viral version, this one can safely be cuddled by little hands without Mum hovering nearby with paper towel and regret. 😂

✨ 14 seconds of video. TWO DAYS of my life. ✨

The plush restock you’ve all been waiting for has FINALLY landed 🧶🙌

And by “landed”, I mean it arrived in boxes and then I had to unpack it, count it, sort it, recount it because I stopped trusting myself, reorder shelf space, and put the entire range back into numerical order.

Just me. Thousands of balls of yarn.
And the occasional questioning of my life choices. 😂

The satisfaction of seeing everything fully stocked, perfectly lined up and back where it belongs almost made me forget the previous two days.

Almost.

🐉 Meet Danger the Dragon 🐉

Made using Plush Velvet yarn and the incredible pattern by ✨

If you’ve been following me for a while - you’d know that when I finish a project, I usually say:

“Well, that was nice. Never doing that again.” 😂

But Danger? I’d happily make another one.

This pattern is deceptively detailed. There were at least three occasions where I confidently thought, “I’m nearly done!”

I was not.

Every time I thought I was approaching the finish line, Christine had another adorable detail waiting for me. Horns. Ears. Another layer of ears. Spikes. Wings. More spikes.

Every single detail was SO worth it. They give Danger so much personality and character that by the end I was completely in love with him 🥹

A seriously fun make and a pattern I’d absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a project that keeps surprising you right to the very last stitch 🧶💕

🥶 Beanie season arrived faster than my motivation to leave a warm bed and 3 blankets (I’m not kidding - I have 3 on the bed).

📦 62 BALLS OF PLUSH VELVET 📦

Natalie… respectfully… what are you making?! 👀😂

Just packed this casual 62 ball order and then she came back for another 14 balls straight after… which I can only assume is a very responsible
“just in case I run out mid-project and spiral” top-up.

I get it. We’ve all been there 🫣

Also pls ignore the greasy hair slicked back so tight it’s giving ‘early signs of balding’… mum life waits for no one and neither do yarn orders 💁‍♀️

But priorities were set:
✨ Pack yarn
✨ Question Natalie’s life choices (lovingly)
✨ Wonder what masterpiece is about to be created

✨ Customer Make Appreciation ✨

I will never get over how amazing it is to see what you all create with YoYu yarn 🥹🧶

This beautiful blanket was made by Noeline for her granddaughter… and honestly, my heart 🥰

She used our Botanica Bloom in Meadow Sage 🌿
A total of 9 cakes
Finished at a cosy 180 x 180cm

Worked in a corner-to-corner silt stitch, and she sized up to a 6mm hook to get that extra softness and drape - and wowzah… it’s absolutely perfect. The way the colours blend through the pattern is just magic ✨

This is what it’s all about. Not just yarn… but the love, time and meaning behind every stitch 💚
