What a day 💛

Our Ashfield Grand Opening was everything we hoped it would be, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came through to celebrate with us.

To our longtime customers who have supported Card Konbini from the beginning, thank you for continuing to grow with us. And to all the new faces we met at Ashfield, welcome; we’re so happy to have you here.

Opening a second store has been a huge milestone for us, and seeing the space full of people trading, browsing, playing and simply enjoying the day made all the hard work worth it.

Thank you for the kind words, the support, the patience, the trades, and for showing up for us in such a big way. We genuinely couldn’t do this without the community behind us.

Liverpool was the beginning. Ashfield is the next chapter. We’re very excited for what comes next 💛

Our Ashfield Grand Opening + Trade Day is happening tomorrow, and we’ve loaded the cabinets with a stack of Trade Day Exclusives just for the occasion 🎉

Expect plenty of singles, sealed products and some seriously nice pieces that we’ve been holding back for the day.

⚠️ Trade Day Exclusive items are not available until tomorrow; pricing and closer inspection will also be available on the day.

A lot of you have been asking for a Trade Day at Ashfield, and we’re so excited to say... here it is.

Our hard launch is here with the Card Konbini Ashfield Grand Opening and Trade Day on:

📍 Saturday 15th August
🕚 11AM to 8PM

Trade Day Rates:
• 85% store credit
• 75% cash

Please note:
• Store credit must be redeemed on the day
• Lower rarities will follow our usual store trade rates
• Customers are also welcome to trade with each other in-store during the event

It’s been a long time coming and we can’t wait to properly welcome everyone into the Ashfield store. Come by, trade, browse, hang out, and celebrate the start of something big with us 💛

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest to play with Card Konbini.

As we all know, the hype behind OP 17 is quite exciting.

Card Konbini understands there may have been issues with the Bandai TCG + App globally last night. This made applications difficult and we do apologise about the situation.

As we strongly believe in a first come first serve basis we can confirm the following:

If your application is currently (successful), you have confirmed your position in the tournament and payment will be taken on the day.

If your application is currently (Waiting List), you are in a queue to fill in any spots that are forfeited. We will be filling any empty spots in order of applicant number for example: If you are applicant 33, you will be the first on the waiting list to receive a spot in the tournament if somebody does not turn up.

Please ensure you are on time and have secured your seat prior to the tournament commencing at 4:00 PM for Ashfield and 6:30 PM for Liverpool.

PLEASE NOTE: Your successful application may be declined if you have not checked into the store before 4:00 PM for Ashfield and 6:30 PM for Liverpool.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact our team on social media and we will be happy to answer any enquiries.

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We have only been provided enough OP 17 boxes to cover all of the release events and participation packs for regular store tournaments over the coming months.

This means that ANY OP 17 product will NOT be available for sale. We will have no packs or boxes for sale at these events. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however, we unfortunately have no other option due to allocation size and tournament capacity.

We are dedicated to ensuring a smooth process with the release events and apologise for anybody that may miss out.

We appreciate the ongoing support from all players and intend to continue to grow into Australia’s number 1 play store.

We want to make it easier for more people to visit, whether you’re stopping by after school, on your way home from work, or later in the evening.

📍 New Ashfield trading hours:
• Monday: Closed
• Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday: 11am–6pm
• Thursday: 11am–8pm
• Friday: 11am–8pm
• Saturday: 11am–8pm
• Sunday: 11am–6pm
