Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Who is ASX and how did it start? When I was 7, I had a "store" exchanging stationery in school. (I actually just wrote store in folded piece of pad paper and positions myself at school entrance). Fast forward 26 years later, I thought of making my childhood dream come true. I looked initially to bring in stationery from the Philippines and check out suppliers. Whe
n I joined the Planner Addicts, I gasped at the prices and thought I can give cheaper prices and faster service. From there, ASX was born. Where are you based? I'm based in Sydney, Australia. So all the items are coming from here. When do you usually ship? I try to ship monthly and have done so since July 2015 (except last December when I took a break). I announce that ASX is open for pre-order on this FB page and post on other FB groups. I try to firm up the date when I ship/items leave from Sydney and announce that, as well. What items do you have for sale? I sell planners from Kikki.K and Filofax. There are other smaller items like Project Life journal cards, Kaiser stamps, etc. I'd usually post the items available for the coming shipment on this page. If you have other items in mind, please do check with me. How do I order? Please send me a message with your name, address, mobile number and the details of your order. These allow me to issue you an invoice. The invoice confirms your order. What if I change my mind on my order? It's ok to change your mind but please let me know. Once I have sent an invoice, I likely have reserved/purchased your order. By letting me know ASAP, I can still return your items before it leaves Sydney. How do I pay you? I have BPI and PayPal accounts. If you use BDO, I have my mum's accounts. Cash pickup is accepted, and my mum has received from Cebuana, Western Union, etc. Do you require a deposit? I trust that when people order, they will pay. I appreciate receiving payments before the items arrive in the Philippines. The invoice would state a deadline of payment, usually last day of the month. I, however, reserve the right to resell your order if no payment has been received 15 days after the deadline. When do items usually arrive? I ship from Sydney in a big box via air cargo. I can't ship your item individually. When the box arrives in the Philippines, my mum sorts and packs them individually. She has used LBC next day delivery for months now. From the time I ship here, it usually takes at least 10 days to get to you. I will inform if there are delays, other circumstances, etc. What's the best way to contact you? You may send me a message on the ASX page or on my personal account. ASX also has an Instagram page. I usually get to reply 7-8am, 12-1pm and 5-10pm here. Manila time would be 3 hours behind. I also have Viber, Line but don't use that often. Do you give discounts, freebies? I try to keep prices as affordable and competitive as possible. I also am very flexible on payments. I had a recent experience of giving big discounts/pricing them at cost to help out some ladies. But that backfired cause they didn't pay at all. Lesson learned. smile emoticon
Any last minute message? Thank you for reading this far. If you're new to ASX, I welcome you. If you're an old friend, thank you for your trust and support. ASX has grown in the past few months. I remember when I first put up an ad, I had one buyer. I joyfully met her when I went back to the Philippines. Since then, I have made real friends that I turn to for advice and reconnected with old school friends, as well. One had been a friend of my mum's and was at our home last Christmas. So, thank you very much. And if you're a joy reserver, well, I've got a fairy tale ending for you!
