MY BACKGROUND / CREDENTIALS

I trained at a specialized school in France over a 4 year course that I completed in 3. This included a two year apprenticeship with the only Kawai MPA in France (Master Piano Artisan, highest training distinction from Kawai, Hamamatsu Japan). That was when I worked for the exclusive French Kawai importer: for my last two years of training, all Kawai pianos sold in Fra

nce went through my master’s and my own hands. As we were in times of financial crisis then and sales went down, I was fortunate enough to spend a considerable part of my training working on the Shigeru Kawai grand pianos, high end quality hand built pianos under constant improvement by the Kawai research laboratory. In other words, I benefited from a privileged training. In November 2019 I went to spend one week in Vienna for training at Feurich's: I am always interested in keeping my skills up to date.

12 years experience. Member of the Australasian Piano Tuners and Technicians Association (APTTA), Australasian Registered Piano Technician (ARPT).
