MY BACKGROUND / CREDENTIALS

I trained at a specialized school in France over a 4 year course that I completed in 3. This included a two year apprenticeship with the only Kawai MPA in France (Master Piano Artisan, highest training distinction from Kawai, Hamamatsu Japan). That was when I worked for the exclusive French Kawai importer: for my last two years of training, all Kawai pianos sold in France went through my master’s and my own hands. As we were in times of financial crisis then and sales went down, I was fortunate enough to spend a considerable part of my training working on the Shigeru Kawai grand pianos, high end quality hand built pianos under constant improvement by the Kawai research laboratory. In other words, I benefited from a privileged training. In November 2019 I went to spend one week in Vienna for training at Feurich's: I am always interested in keeping my skills up to date.

12 years experience. Member of the Australasian Piano Tuners and Technicians Association (APTTA), Australasian Registered Piano Technician (ARPT).

Change is coming!
Hi all and thank you for following our page all that time, I'm glad to be able to post about work every now and then.

The past 2 or 3 years have been absolutely insane. For those I haven't notified yet, I have left the Mid North Coast area to settle in Sydney. I’m very sad to leave all these lovely people behind.

Tony Coiffet Piano Tuning is now merging with Piano Harbour Pty Ltd. In the first instance, Piano Harbour will endeavour to offer piano tuning services in the greater Sydney area, and has been doing so for over a year already.

This page will be merged with http://fb.me/pianoharbour as soon as possible and you will be able to follow our activity there instead. We will be sad to see all those flawless reviews vanish into thin air but no doubt more will come 💪

Thanks for your support, and we hope to read your comments on the other page!

Piano Harbour is focused on the sale and rental of acoustic pianos and piano accessories. Supply is dependent on current stock and availability.

We also offers professional piano services through contracted technicians.
