We are so excited to be coming to Melbourne from Sydney for a series of FREE all-ages events at Transgender Victoria's Affirmation Station in Brunswick!

✨ Packing Workshop: We’ll cover all things packing and STPs, how to find what works for your body, and how to pack with confidence.

✨ Chest Binding Workshop: Everything you need to know about safe and comfortable chest binding with binders and tape.

✨ In Conversation: Join us for a Q&A session where we’ll talk about our experience as founders of Sock Drawer Heroes. Snacks and drinks provided.

🎟️ All events are FREE but registration is essential. There is a $10 fee to register - this will be refunded to attendees after the event.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility.
Trans and gender diverse people have always been here. And we will continue to be, no matter what. Our joy is resistance.

This day can hold a different meaning for all of us. Everyone in our trans and gender diverse community is beautifully unique and today we see and celebrate that.

But sometimes being visible is exhausting, so to our cis allies - we need you. Check in on your trans and gender diverse friends and family, tell them you love them and stand with us.

A few weeks late because we were recovering from being busy bees during Mardi Gras, but we couldn’t not share the joy and euphoria that was our 7th SDH & Friends Laneway Market.

We are so privileged to offer a safe, inclusive and joyful space for trans and gender diverse community, plus the wider LGBTQIA+ community and allies. 

A huge thank you to our incredible stallholders, volunteers, community partners, and attendees.

Now the chaos of Mardi Gras season has settled, we wanted to take a moment to look back and share what a lovely time we had.

We did our second ever stall at Fair Day in Trans Camp. This year, we brought the whole SDH team there, and we had a blast.

Thank you to everyone who came to say hello and support our small trans-owned business. We loved meeting you all, and extra thank you to those who brought us dog friends to pat.

Bec and Erin ducked off for a quick appearance on the Main Stage with to talk about how people can support the trans and gender diverse community.

Thank you to for offering a designated trans space at Fair Day, and for supporting local TGD businesses and organisations to be there.

Speaker Series: Beyond Trans Visibility

Trans authors Zoe Terakes, Lee Lai, Liz Duck-Chong and Hasib Hourani will discuss the joys, challenges and complexities of visibility, exploring representation and craft across forms and genres. Together, panellists will consider how writing can move beyond visibility alone, and instead contribute to a culture of trans safety, justice and collective flourishing.
