Almost 10 years ago, I finished my apprenticeship at 18 and opened The Lash Studio straight after.
At the time, I had one very clear passion: lashes and brows. I knew I wanted to create something of my own, but I don’t think 18-year-old me could have imagined where that little business would take me.
Fast forward a few years and life got very full, very quickly. I fell pregnant with Max at 21, had three beautiful boys in three years, navigated countless COVID lockdowns, and faced more professional and personal challenges than I could ever fit into one caption.
After having Jett, my youngest, I knew I wanted more for myself and for the business I had spent years building. I had always had a passion for skin and aesthetics, and I knew I wanted to further my education so I could eventually create something that brought all of those things together.
So, I went back to uni.
I’m now two years into my three-year full-time nursing degree, working towards becoming an aesthetic practitioner, and as we began building our new clinic, it felt like the right time for the business to grow with me.
The Aesthetic Collective isn’t about leaving The Lash Studio behind. It’s an evolution of everything we’ve built over the past decade.
Lashes and brows will always be part of who we are and what we do. But now, alongside them, we’re able to offer advanced, results-driven skin treatments, with aesthetic treatments to join us in the future.
Three babies. A full-time degree. Clinical placements. Running The Lash Studio. Managing a team. Building a new clinic. And everything else life has thrown in along the way.
It hasn’t always been easy, but I know exactly what I’m building and why I’m doing it.
The Lash Studio will always be where it started.
The Aesthetic Collective is where we’re going. 🤎
I can’t wait to bring you with me into this next chapter.
