New brands, beloved brands, restocking old favourites, making lists and checking them twice… 📝👀

Now the big question - will Steve think we’ve been naughty, or just be impressed that we didn’t *quite* blow the budget? 😂

We’ve been busy finding new goodies, choosing gifts, restocking the things you love and, of course, discovering a few things we’d quite happily take home ourselves. 😉

We are 2 flights into our 4 flights home journey. Sitting in Qantas lounge in LA waiting for our 11.30 pm flight to Sydney. We were up at 4.30 this morning so it’s been a long day 🤣🤦‍♀️ we have had the most amazing trip, but will be very happy to be home. ❤️❤️😘✈️🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸

So we have arrived at our last night in the Yukon-Whitehorse. Reception has been very intermittent so a little fill in on where we have been.
Dawson City-Whitehorse which was a long 8 hr drive. Lots of roadworks so got nowhere fast🤦‍♀️
Whitehorse-Skagway which just for the drive was stunning 😍 We stayed for 2 nights there with 4 massive cruise ships and thousands of people, needless to say Stephen couldn’t wait to leave. We did go on the Yukon-White Pass railway which was a highlight. Back across the border again and to Whitehorse. First flight on the journey back to our beloved Tawonga South starts very early tomorrow morning 5.15am. We eventually leave for Oz at 11.30pm from LA. So lots of waiting 😭🤣🤦‍♀️ looking forward to seeing you all soon. Big thanks to Macca, Leesa, Amanda and Jenny for keeping things running and more importantly keeping Sampson and Eddie under control, or maybe it’s the other way round 🤣

Tok-Chicken not a long drive but road was a bit rough in patches. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I have to say this is one of my favourite places in Alaska. A neat and quite quirky town with lots of chickens 🐓 no not real ones. The bears would probably eat them😭

Valdez-Tok. Quite along trip, 6-7 hrs with stops along the way. Stunning scenery through Thompson pass. Beautiful waterfalls and snow capped mountains as far as you could see. Guess we will be ready for winter when we get home. 🤣🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😘❤️

Whittier-Valdez. We left Seward, heading for Whittier. Went through the Anderson tunnel, a one way single lane so had to wait our turn to get through it. Arrived in Whittier to get the ferry across Prince William Sound to Valdez. Such beautiful scenery. It rains nearly everyday in Valdez, we managed to have 2 most blue bird days.☺️❤️

Sunday 31st May. Stephen’s birthday 🎉 we had booked with major marine tours to go out on a 7 1/2 hour trip to see glaciers and find some wildlife. That we most certainly did. An amazing day, we saw sea otters 🦦 mountain goats, humpback whales 🐋 sea lions 🦭 a black bear, harbor seals and lots of birds 🦅 the 2 glaciers we went to was Holgate half a mile wide and 400 feet high on waters edge and the other half was Ailiak 1 mile wide and 600 feet high, let me just say it was huge!!
