What are gals to do if they see potential in almost everything interesting that they see? (Especially when these gals have a propensity to want to KEEP everything for future projects.) Well, these gals focus that ever so useful passion to create, repurpose and/or re-home almost everything they find. Because one never knows what kind of treasures will present themselves in a picking expedition, the
re's no anticipating what the final product might be. Combining the b***y of the pick with available resources and whatever creative juices are flowing at the time, you might get: shabby chic, vogue, cottage style, rustic, repurposed, country french, retro, Art Deco, industrial, large, small or anything in between. You might be asking, "Where in the world do these gals find these interesting pieces for their craft?" It is truly exciting places like neglected barns, auctions, garage/yard sales or curbs. That's just gross.) Then on truly special occasions the gals just have to step out of the box and go to Hobby Lobby. We LOVE that place. So, who exactly are these gals? We are sisters: Sherra, from Lubbock, Texas and Robin, from Waco, Texas. When you see a post, it will be stated which area the piece you’re seeing is located. It will also let you know if it's a piece we're willing to ship. Shipping a piece will require pre-payment by check (which will include the shipping charges) with shipment occurring after the check has cleared. Most items require pick-up with cash payment. If you fall in love with a non-shippable piece that is not in your area and you’re not in a huge hurry to get the piece, it might be possible for one of us to pack it up and bring it on our next trip to that area. All of these types of arrangements have to be worked out individually. Remember the "propensity to want to KEEP everything"? Because of this tendency our Hold Policy is fairly strict. We MUST let these little jewels move on to better homes ASAP. We will hold items with payment only. Items not picked up by the pre-arranged pick up time will be re-posted and resold at our discretion. There will be no refunds given on re-posted items due to non-pickup. Please keep in mind when perusing our page and commenting on posts, that we are somewhat attached to each of these items. We have personally picked, cleaned, refurbished, refinished and/or repurposed it into what we feel is a very special piece. So, any negative posts will probably hurt our feelings. We know. It's supposed to be "business". Don't take it "personal". But, that's just not possible for us. So, please be kind. In the words of our sweet grandmother, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. And, if you say something ugly, I'm going to slap your jawwww." LOL
