Hey peeps! I’m hosting my very first creative workshop 😝 This is one of the many brain farts that has been floating around my head for a long time now. This first one is at The Shop of Little Shops in Pakenham with the hopes of expanding if all goes to plan 😬

‘Til death we do art’ is inviting you to spend a fun crafty afternoon creating your own PLASTERED ODDITY!

Take a raw pre-primed plaster mould and transform it using paint, dried flowers, gems and a range of whimsical mini embellishments.

Totally beginner friendly and all materials are provided for you. Rock up, leave your adult hat at the door and step into the fun, nostalgic vibes.

Hosted by Bec from Freak Like Me, these sessions are for those aged 18+ and of course the themes are offbeat and a bit unique.

My first visit was just 3 weeks ago! Aradale Asylum reminds us of a sad but important time in Victorian and Australian history and it would be devastating to have it left to rot.

ARADALE ASYLUM CLOSED❗️❗️

We are devastated to announce that Aradale Asylum has been closed due to concerns relating to it's upkeep. We have, and will continue to, advocate for the maintenance of the heritage site. This is a loss for our guides. Our community. Our business partners. Our families. Our friends.... We won't give up, we've been through this before and survived 15 years of fighting to keep the asylum alive. We have suspended all bookings and will begin to process refunds as the situation develops..We appreciate your support during this time. Please share, like and comment to spread the word.

The countdown is on to my absolute favourite event of the year, Goldfields Gothic: Festival of Dark Ideas in Maldon, Victoria.

Goldfield Gothic is a weekend of events themed around celebrating the dark side of the goldfields and the Gothic subculture. Inspired by intriguing stories of the past, spiritualists, secret societies, bushrangers, ghost hoaxers and murders. It celebrates the dark side of the goldfields in all its gruesome glory.
