Quokkas of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island. Can’t help smiling every time I see this little face.

Wadjemup / Rottnest Island has the worlds largest wild quokka population. They have plenty of natural resources and no natural predators on the island. It’s a quokkas paradise!
During August you might see little joeys heads poking out of their mother’s pouches.

Introducing our newest member!

The Red Panda is an Asian mammal living mostly on treed slopes in the eastern Himalayan Mountains. With thick fluffy brown fur, it does resemble a bear but is actually more closely related to the raccoon family. Red Pandas are herbivores, great climbers, and solitary – only coming together in spring to mate.

Conservation status: Endangered, but there are conservation programs in place to aid protection. is one of the most successful institutions for breeding Red Pandas.
