When the Designer Series Paper is this beautiful, I like to let it do the talking!

For this card, I started with a Secret Sea card base and added a layer of the gorgeous Stunning Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper to create a subtle textured background.

The floral panel from the Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper became the focal point. Before adhering it to the card, I wrapped it with Fresh Freesia ¼" Satin Ribbon and tied a simple bow to add a soft finishing touch.

The "Sending Love" sentiment was heat embossed in white on Secret Sea cardstock, carefully fussy cut, then popped up with Dimensionals for extra definition. To finish the card, I added a few Adhesive-Backed Blooms for just the right amount of sparkle and dimension.

Sometimes, all you need is beautiful paper, a little texture and a few thoughtful details to create an elegant card.

What's your favourite detail on this card—the floral paper, the textured background, or the heat embossed sentiment? 💜

🖤🤍 Sometimes a simple colour palette can make the biggest statement.

I had so much fun creating this card with the Framed Violets Bundle. Instead of colouring the flowers, I decided to colour the background!

I stamped the floral image repeatedly onto Basic White Cardstock using Secret Sea ink, then carefully coloured around each flower with a Secret Sea Stampin' Blend. It takes a little patience, but I absolutely love the dramatic effect it creates.

For the focal point, I used an oval from the Violet Dreams Dies, adding a little background texture before stamping the "Sending Love" sentiment. To finish the design, I stamped the flowers onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, coloured them with Crumb Cake and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends, die cut them and popped them up with Dimensionals for extra depth.

The Framed Violets Bundle makes creating elegant, layered cards so easy. The coordinating stamps and dies work beautifully together, giving you everything you need to build polished floral designs without any fuss. Even better, bundles save you 10% compared to purchasing the stamp set and dies separately!

What do you think of this colour combination? Would you have left the flowers white, or would you have coloured them too? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 💛

Have you ever taken a simple card layout and wondered, "What if I added just one more thing?" 🌿✨

Welcome to Part 3 of my Moonlit Flora series!

Over the past two parts, we've started with simple designs and gradually added more layers. This time, we're taking those same ideas one step further with a few extra techniques to create even more depth and detail.

For the first card, I coloured the die-cut fern with Light and Dark Peaceful Pine Stampin' Blends before adding a beautiful gold butterfly and layering everything with Dimensionals. It's amazing how a little colouring can bring a die cut to life.

The second card uses a different approach. Instead of colouring the fern, I created a tone-on-tone background by lightly stamping over the centre panel before layering the gold butterflies to create a striking focal point. The result feels completely different, even though both cards use many of the same products.

That's one of the things I love most about papercrafting. You don't always need lots of new supplies to create something fresh. Sometimes it's simply about looking at the same products in a different way.

I hope you've enjoyed following along with this three-part Moonlit Flora series. My goal was to show how one suite can take you from quick and simple cards, to easy layered designs, and finally to projects with a little more detail and technique.

I'd love to know... which part of the series has been your favourite?

🌿 Part 1: Quick and simple
🌿 Part 2: Easy layered layouts
🌿 Part 3: A little more technique and detail

I can't wait to hear which style you enjoy creating most! 💚

Have you ever noticed how adding just a couple of extra layers can completely change the look of a card? 🌿

Welcome to Part 2 of my Moonlit Flora series!

In Part 1, I shared two quick and simple cards that let the beautiful Designer Series Paper do all the work. This time, we're taking those same ideas and building on them with a few extra layers for added depth and visual interest, while still keeping the layouts easy to recreate.

For these two cards, I used the same Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper but changed up the layering to create two quite different looks.

The Mossy Meadow card combines Mossy Meadow, Basic White and Golden Glow to frame the Designer Series Paper, creating a design that feels rich without being complicated.

The Golden Glow card swaps the colours around, using a Golden Glow card base with Mossy Meadow as the accent layer. I also changed the sentiment by cutting the die-cut apart and placing it over the Designer Series Paper, giving the card a slightly different feel while using exactly the same supplies.

Inside both cards, I carried the design through by adding a piece of Designer Series Paper at the top and a Basic White writing panel below. It's a simple finishing touch that makes the inside feel just as special as the front.

I love how these cards show that you don't need to learn lots of new techniques to make your cards look more detailed. Sometimes, it's simply a matter of adding another layer or two.

Next up is Part 3, where we'll take these layouts one step further with a few extra techniques for those times you feel like spending a little longer at your craft table.

Which of these would you choose... the Mossy Meadow card or the Golden Glow card? 💚💛

Do you ever look at a beautiful piece of Designer Series Paper and think, "It really doesn't need much else - its STUNNING as is"? 🌿🦋

That's exactly how I felt creating these first two cards using the Moonlit Flora Suite Collection.

For both cards, I started with a coloured card base, using Old Olive for one and the gorgeous new Peaceful Pine In Color for the other. I trimmed a piece of Designer Series Paper to leave a narrow border, stamped a sentiment in Tuxedo Black, cut it out with one of the Fern & Flora Dies, and finished with a few Dew Drops embellishments.

These cards are a great reminder that you don't always need lots of layers or techniques to create something beautiful. Sometimes it's about letting the paper shine.

These are the first projects in a three part Moonlit Flora series I'm sharing with you. In this first part, I'm keeping things simple with my Love It, Chop It style. The next two parts will gradually build on these ideas with extra layers and then a few more techniques, showing just how versatile this suite can be.

I hope you'll enjoy following along over the coming days.

Have you ever made a card that just makes you smile? 🦁🌅

There's something so heartwarming about this sweet lion family from the Safari Smiles Bundle. Sitting together as the sun sets behind them, they remind me that life's best moments are often the ones we share. You could even say they're enjoying their own little Circle of Life. 💛

To make the scene really pop, I paired the warm sunset colours with a moody Secret Sea embossed background. The contrast creates so much depth, while the circular opening draws your eye straight to this happy family. Add a few grassy details and a simple sentiment, and the whole design comes together beautifully.

It's a great reminder that sometimes all you need is one special focal image, a little texture and a gorgeous colour combination to create a card that tells a story.

Comment SAFARI2 below and I'll send you all the details about the Safari Smiles Bundle. 🦁

What catches your eye first? The glowing sunset, the rich Secret Sea background, or this adorable lion family?

Have you ever found a stamp set that instantly makes you smile? 🐘🦁

The Safari Smiles Bundle is one of those sets for me! Just look at this adorable elephant family. They're full of personality, and I love how easy it is to create a fun little scene with the coordinating dies.

One of my favourite things about this bundle is how versatile it is. You can colour the animals in realistic shades, keep them soft and whimsical like I have here, or get creative with colours that are completely unexpected. The dies make building landscapes so simple too, adding layers and dimension without the fuss.

Whether you're making cards, decorating scrapbook pages, or simply enjoying some relaxing crafting time, this bundle gives you so many opportunities to tell a story with your projects.

I think these sweet elephants would brighten anyone's day. 💛

If you'd like to see everything that's included in the Safari Smiles Bundle, type SAFARI in the comments and I'll send you all the details.
