Abba, we remember the people affected by the Nepal-Tibet devastating flash flood. For those who were swept away, You were there even as their breath failed…. You are the Breath beneath every breath. They were never beyond Your presence and love. As this earthly life slipped away, You gathered them into Your open arms, into Your everlasting Kingdom… a Kingdom they no longer merely hope for, but now see clearly.

We think of their loved ones. You are their refuge and strength in this time of loss and uncertainty. Abba You are the strength of the rescuers and the comfort of those who are grieving.

Your presence shall be known in the midst of this devastation, and Your love shall be seen through every hand that reaches out to help.

Amen.
