Can we please get a bus shelter installed at the bus stop outside 404 Yarra Road?

Every school day, a group of local kids waits for the bus at the stop outside 404 Yarra Road. When it rains, they have absolutely nowhere to shelter and are left standing in the weather before they even get to school.

A simple bus shelter would make a huge difference—not only by keeping them dry, but by providing a safer and more comfortable place to wait during wet and cold weather.

I’m hoping Manningham Council, Councillor Lange Carli, and our State MP, Nicole Werner MP, can work together to investigate installing a bus shelter at this location. It’s a small investment that would have a big impact on the safety and wellbeing of local school children.

A big thank you to the amazing kids in the photo for helping highlight this issue. Your willingness to stand together and support a positive change for the community is fantastic, and hopefully your voices will help make a difference.
