Congratulations to one of the members of our skate community, Mr. Sylvester Maynard!

Sylvester was recently honoured as a recipient of one of the Rawle Clarke Legacy Awards, recognising his contribution to the local skating community and to the National Senior Games as a senior skater.

We are proud to see one of our own being recognised for his dedication, passion and continued contribution to the development of skating in Barbados.

Congratulations, Mr. Maynard! Well deserved!

The Speed Race was fire with some seriously hot pace on the circuit - which included inclines, road bumps, a decent and corners to increase the challenge.

These skaters came ready to race, and they certainly showed us what speed is all about!

Take a look at the views of our winners!

Congratulations to all the competitors who gave it their all at the Active Living Festival of the National Senior Games over the weekend
