"The culture that is emerging in Bangladesh is not beneficial for the country. I am not taking the side of any party, community, or group. Crimes have occurred, are occurring, and will continue to occur — but they must be dealt with through a defined legal process. If we commit a greater injustice in the name of punishing one, the entire nation ends up bearing the consequences. A wrongdoer cannot belong to any specific political party. The injustice that has happened to someone else today could happen to you or me tomorrow."
