How have your children taught and tested you?
“𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.” Surah At-Taghabun | Ayah 15
Our wealth and children aren’t just gifts from Him. They are also trials meant to test our patience and resilience.
As we all know parenting is by no means an easy role. As a mom myself, of twins Alhamdulillāh, I know firsthand how downright hard it is to balance the demands of parenting with the rest of life’s responsibilities. And what’s harder is raising them with kindness, love, and in the light of Islam.
Dear Moms,
If you think and feel like you are alone—YOU ARE NOT.
There are countless other women out there, me including, going through the same anxieties, struggles, and challenges you are facing. Ask for help if you must. There is no shame in also admitting that you can’t do it all alone so push that pride out the way.
This Mom thing is incredibly tough, but you‘re literally invincible. You have shared and given the purest love imaginable. So much love that at times, it hurts! 😅 And to them, no arms other than yours are the safest, most beautiful they could ever be.
ALLAH sees you, and with Him comes great reward. EVERY CHALLENGE YOU FACE IN RAISING YOUR CHILDREN IS A STEP CLOSER TOWARDS THAT GREAT REWARD.
