This heavy heat and humidity fried my brain.
It got me thinking about a super summer fragrance, because honestly nothing I’ve tried this summer is satisfying me in terms of performance.
I started imagining something that would actually feel refreshing in this brutal summer something that gives a real cooling effect.
To keep things simple, I decided to focus on just three accords: a citrus top, a lightly mixed floral middle, and a base carrying the essence of wet soil.
Then gradually, the work started progressing.
I finished the easier part first, the middle floral accord,didn’t worry too much about the citrus at that point.
But the 'Veja Mati'… that took a long time.
While working on it, I thought of adding a rain accord into the mix and since I have limited resources, tried my best not sure how it will turn out after the final blend, though.
Then I ended up making two different versions of the *Veja Mati* accord.
For the citrus top, I just threw something together without overthinking, that can be fixed after the formula is ready, that moment another idea hit my mind, summer isn’t complete without mango.
So I sat down again and worked on a mango accord. There can be many variations. I tried one, my mother said it smells like mango… but also like 'hawai mithai'. I kind of know why.
Anyway…
My nose isn’t even working properly right now because of a cold!
