From Cherry Shorts to a matching Cherry weekend bag 🍒

Because leftover fabric from one project, can be turned in a beautiful matching second project 🥰

I originally made this bag to take to my girlfriends house, every time I sleep over. But I ended op using it for so many more trips. It is roomy, it has inside pockets, it is easy to carry and it looks amazing! 🤗

This will be my second entry for the challenge, trying to get cherries in the top statistics 😉 Yvette

🍒 Cherry shorts 🥰

June is not only Pride Month, but also Month 🍉🍊🍋🍓🍎

So this is my first entry for 🤗 - my Cherry Shorts 🍒

The are a TNT pattern for me, even hacked as shorts, because they look super cute and are mega comfortable. The fact that I can make them in so many fun fabrics, makes it that much better! 🤩

I am so ready for summer with these!! ☀️

Technopolis date 🧠🥰

Had a fun and playful datenight at today 🤗

And of course, I had to wear something handmade that fit the theme of the date 😉
I chose for my Ketnet shirt, because of the playful hands. And since you have to touch and play a lot at the museum, I found it very fitting 🤭

And have you ever been to Technopolis?

I know the museum is mostly for children, but sometimes, as an adult, you have to get in touch with your inner child and just have fun, so we did 🙃

I taught my girlfriend how to sew and she made her very first pair of shorts 🤗
I am so so so so so proud!! 🥰 They look awesome!!

She had always wanted to learn how to sew, so I decided to make our datenight, a small course in how to make a pair of shorts 😉

We used an old tablecloth from and started sewing. Somewhere during the process, we realised that the tablecloth was a little bit too seethrough to become shorts, so we lined the entire piece 🫣 extra work, but a perfect inside finish (scroll to see)!

I have an amazing girlfriend, which I already knew, ofcourse 😉 but now we know she also has the fashion and sewing talent and we can share this fun hobby now 🥰

One can never have enough dino shirts 🦖🦕
So I made another one 🤭

Not a T-Shirt, turtleneck or a pyjama set, but a button-up summer shirt, because summer is coming 😉

I think this is my 5th or 6th and still loooove it. I love to sew it and I love to wear it 🤗 Thank you for making the perfect shirt pattern!! 🥰

I combined the shirt with some old vintage buttons that I got at a flea market a while ago. The colour doesn't match perfectly, but they look like little stones that fit in the background with the dinosaurs and I kind of love that ☺️

Love is love and love will always win, no matter who you love 😘

Wearing this handmade cardigan to celebrate the beginning of Pride Month 🤗
I crocheted this 5 years ago to celebrate my very first Pride and still wear it LOUD and PROUD!! 🏳️‍🌈

I do want to remake this cardigan sometime, because it is very very very oversized 🤭 I literally look like a walking Prideflag 😅 (honestly, it's a vibe) but it makes it not that easy to wear in everyday context. But I was in the beginning of my sewing and crochet journey, as well as my LGBTQ+ journey, so we love her and we will cherish her forever for the symbol that she is 🥰

Because pyjama sets for adults don't have to be boring 🥳

I constantly see cute pyjama sets for little kids in the stores, but never for adults.

So that's why I made my own!!! 🤭🤩

I look like a 10 year old boy when wearing them, but it is a vibe and I looooove it! 🥰
