This mid-1980s Delvaux doctor bag in Bordeaux ostrich feels like a reminder of another way of travelling — when the practical things were made with a certain elegance.
Nearly forty years later, we love it just as much for a weekend away as for an afternoon in the city.

Can a Delvaux certificate prove a handbag is authentic? Not necessarily.
After examining more than 1,000 Delvaux handbags, one thing has become very clear to us: authenticating vintage Delvaux is rarely about finding one defining detail.
A certificate, stamp or piece of hardware can provide clues — but the real answer lies in whether the entire handbag makes sense for the period in which it was supposedly made.

A vintage Delvaux from 1967, crafted in magnificent box calf leather that has developed a beautiful patina only time can create.

Almost 20 years old… in nearly untouched condition 🤎
Meet the Delvaux Lily, 2007 — a beautiful example of why vintage Delvaux continues to fascinate me.
What makes this Lily truly exceptional is its condition. Finding a bag from 2007 preserved like this is becoming increasingly rare — it is quite literally in like-new condition.
