Pitch Night – Putting People in the Spotlight
This evening is all about seeing people through the eyes of someone who truly knows them.
Option 1 – You pitch a single friendDo you know a single who deserves a moment in the spotlight?Create a 3 to 5 minute pitch about your friend — their talents, quirks, softness, strength, humour. You’re free to do this in your own way:a short PowerPoint, a poem, objects, photos, stories… whatever fits. This is not about selling someone. It’s about showing who they really are.
Option 2 – You are the singleAre you single yourself?Ask a good friend — someone who knows you well — to pitch you.Let yourself be seen through their words.
Just here to listen? That’s welcome too.Single but not ready to be pitched?Come and listen, enjoy the stories, and feel the room.
After the pitches, there’s time for a drink, conversation, and relaxed mingling. No pressure. No speed dating. Just real people, shared warmth, and space to connect.
Sometimes being seen is the bravest thing you can do.And sometimes… it starts with a friend holding the mic.
