Hello my dear friends,
Today, I would like to return to the matter of my child's disappearance at HOMEL Hospital in Cotonou.
Although I was informed of my daughter's death, I was neither able to confirm it nor see her body, and this remains the case to this day.
From the court to the Court of Appeal, and from there to the Constitutional Court, this case seems to be sinking into oblivion.
I therefore request the intervention of His Excellency Mr. Patrice Talon, President of the Republic, to obtain clarification on this situation.
The latest message I received from the Constitutional Court indicates that this court strongly condemns this crime and declares itself competent to deal with it. However, due to the ongoing investigation of the case, which confirms that the investigation is ongoing, it cannot exercise its jurisdiction in this case.
However, this firm has done nothing on the case for over five years, as evidenced by the multiple contradictions discovered during the investigations in collaboration with the bailiffs.
With the bailiffs in the field, three items are requested:
1- The birth register.
2- The death register.
3- The body at the morgue.
♦ For 1), what we were shown does not correspond to our daughter. It's a boy, and the name is neither mine nor my wife's.
♦ For 2), we were informed that they do not have a death register.
♦ For 3), we were presented with a fake, something that doesn't even resemble a human body.
Incredibly, the then-director general told us that he had never received any objection from the court regarding the removal of the body, implying that it was me who hadn't collected my daughter's body.
Furthermore, he claims to have never received an autopsy expert or a DNA test.
Yet, we sent several letters to the judge requesting the removal, and it was systematically refused.
We also went to the judge for an explanation, and she told us to our face that it was impossible to remove the body until the expert had submitted his report.
However, according to the director of HOMEL, it appears that he was never contacted on this matter.
The most paradoxical thing is that after we were shown a strange object to claim it was our daughter's body, the state-appointed expert visited the site and declared he had seen nothing.
The director claimed ignorance, even though on January 10th, the day I was informed of my daughter's death, we demonstrated to understand the circumstances of her death while also requesting her body.
Faced with their inability to explain the cause of her death, we asked them to release her body. They continued to lead us in circles, to the point where we no longer believe what they told us, but are convinced that they acted suspiciously with our daughter.
Unfortunately, this case remains unclear since January 10, 2020.
Dear President of the Republic! If I can obtain a pardon from you, and firmly convinced that you work for the well-being of newborns, I implore you to intervene in this strange affair that has persisted for far too long.
You are the highest magistrate of the Republic.
Hoping that my request will receive your attention, I send you my sincere gratitude.
