These birds need our help, we have nesting cups in stock at the store, as with many species, habitat loss is one of the main reasons for decline, also pesticide use, no bugs, no birds. When there is no birds , there is less pollination of our food, meaning our food disappears.

One of the best forest birds, a constant singing bird, builds a cool nest that most always has pieces of birch bark through the nest. They fly for miles n miles to get here, eat our bugs and then return south.

Yellow bellied sap suckers, every year we get questions, why does this woodpecker peck on my steel chimney, eve trough, tin roof etc etc . They are so cool, and great to have back again this spring. They peck for territory and for mating, same cadence every time .
