I tried to find a list of Canadian products starting in April 2017. It ended up getting some publicity so I started this page in June 2018. I made this originally for myself and am thrilled that others are also trying to actively shop Canadian I welcome suggestions and update the list often based on new knowledge. I cannot promise 100% accuracy as I’m only human but I do the best I can to verify which products are made in Canada, including those who manufacture in Canada while being owned by other countries. My goal is to try and keep Canadians working. The more we work together, the more likely that we won’t end up in a recession. That’s my hope. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this page with comments and information. Please keep it up. We are all in this together.

Hallowe'en is coming the end of next month. Here are some made in Canada options to think about

Camino chocolate, Chicken bones candy, covered bridge potato chips Dare products (gummies/jujubes), Dubble Bubble bubble gum (made in Ontario, owned by U.S. ) Hawkins cheesies, Hickory sticks, Kerrs Candy, Lays potato chips (owned by frito lay, made in Canada), Mackintosh toffee, Mars bars (made in Bolton) made good products Old Dutch potato chips (although the parent company is in the U.S.) Sunkist fruit gummies sun-Rype fruit snacks , Swedish fish, Vachon jos louis (made in Canada, owned by Mexico),
Also in Canada, Mondelēz manufactures and commercializes leading brands such as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Mini Eggs, Oreo, Ritz, Crispers, Sour Patch Kids, Chips Ahoy, Clif, Halls and many others. (I've been to the Peek Freens outlet in Toronto and can speak to the fact they are made there. While it's an international company it is headquartered in the US.
