A quick update to this vintage mirror found at my local thrift store and painted in Fusion's Sacred Sage - a muted greenish grey brings a pop of colour to this corner of my room.

I decided to keep this pretty little wicker bathroom shelf but it was white (aren't they always 🤷‍♀️). A couple months ago, I was staging a house with and the seller had the exact same piece, but it was black!! 🤯 Mind blown!!

So in a fit of needing something to do, I spent 2 days carefully painting it in my favourite fusion colour.

Coal Black may be a small obsession of mine.

This old secretary desk was 💯% a labour of love.
I had a vision for this one. provided some beautiful off-cuts of this Premier Prints fabric called Cactus Sundown and I needed to use it. It had been sitting for over a year.
When I found the desk, I originally thought just the paint and the natural grain of the wood. But as soon as I saw how the natural wood harmonized with Fusion's Pressed Fern, I knew the fabric had to be added!

So here she is, ready and waiting to take centre stage in your home office, work office, studio, place of business, bedroom, wherever!!

This pretty lady was in some rough shape when I picked her up - the caning was loose, and she had a terrible finish on her.
Then, when I fixed her caning and was looking for a colour, I couldn't find one! I tried green, mustard, even black and nothing felt right until I was in the shop today and my eyes fell on this beautiful muted pink by Fusion called Damask. I instantly knew this was her colour.

She is finally ready for her place in a new home as a desk chair, occasional chair, entry chair for those with small entry ways, whatever!!

"Ningpo" Pareek demitasse cups and saucers by Johnson Bros of England.

Considered one of their most romantic patterns with the gorgeous greens, pinks, golds and scalloping.

This set of 4 is nearly a century old! Estimated to be released in the 1930s, these cups and their saucers are in excellent vintage condition with minor crazing, but no cracks/chips, vibrant colour, and minor wear on the gold detailing.

Enjoy your espresso with friends, but make it fancy and fun!

I've been in my new house for 2.5 months already, and I refuse to spend any time in the garage as we still have boxes and boxes and boxes to go through. But the majority of what we use regularly has made its way inside.

Today I realized that the feel of our bedroom was *slightly* off, and decided to flip it all around. It feels much better, while I know there's still a lot of work to do.

Oh, and part of the reasoning to move everything around was also that our 1 year old ball python has escaped and is *somewhere*. Places we know he isn't- his terrarium, our bedroom. 😬 The dogs don't seem to be bothered by this, so we're hopeful!

Anyway, here is my literal corner of our room. The only part that's *done*. Does anyone else get restless in January??

Yesterday found us walking the doggies to the mailbox to find my annual photo dump print order had come in early, affording us an opportunity to choose and hang photos on our friends and family gallery hallway. Such a happy way to spend the first day of the year!
