Did you know that Blenheim Cherryfest is organized by the local BIA and community volunteers. These folks help with many activities behind the scenes and even at Cherry Central! As the event approaches, we are now looking for some more volunteers to help with activities during the three-day event. Whether you can give a few hours, one day, or all three days, your support helps keep this beloved community tradition local, affordable, and available for everyone to enjoy.

No special experience is required, just a positive attitude and a desire to help your community.

One of the sweetest traditions of the Blenheim Cherryfest is back: the Cherry Pie Eating Contest! Get ready to dive face-first into a delicious cherry pie and compete for prizes, bragging rights, and plenty of laughs. No forks. No hands. Just you, a pie, and the cheering crowd!

Whether you're competing or watching, this family-friendly event is always a crowd favourite. The contest features multiple age divisions, making it fun for participants of all ages. Bring your appetite, your sense of humour, and your love of cherries!

🚲Join us for the Blenheim Bike Rodeo this Saturday! 🚲
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is excited to partner with Blenheim Community Policing & Neighbourhood Watch; Blenheim Optimist Club & McDonald’s for a fun and educational event focused on bicycle safety for children and families.

Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: St. Mary’s Hall, 94 George Street (Use Church Entrance)

Children will have the opportunity to:
• Receive bike safety tips from CKPS officers
• Have their helmets properly fitted
• Complete a fun bike safety course

All participants 12 and under will receive a FREE lunch, a coupon for a McDonald’s ice-cream cone and a chance to win a door prize! Food will be available for purchase for non-participants.
We look forward to seeing families come together for morning of fun, learning and community connection. We hope to see you there! 💙
