We've done the research and have seen our friends get burned way too many times so here we share the Top 3 Reasons to NOT Buy Your Gear Online!
1. Customs Duties and Taxes-even if you are buying off what appears to be a Canadian site...read the fine print. The website may have a .ca and they may charge in Canadian dollars but most aren't located in, nor do they ship from, Canada. So even though the price may be cheaper, you get charged customs duties and taxes when your package arrives. Plus, you may not get the items at the same time if they have multiple warehouses they ship from.
2. Your local shop supports local riders. Buying from us helps us to sponsor local talent and keep these kids in their game. It also allows us to donate to local fundraisers and events that suppport people and groups in our community.
3. Buying from your local skateshop keeps your dollars local, keeps kids employed and keeps a small business (where you and/or your kids can hang out and be safe)...OPEN.
